I like to think I'm one part Leonardo, one part Thomas Edison and one part Dale Chiluly. I'm constantly seeking to go in new directions artistically. I love to invent new techniques and styles, and to work with a talented group of craftspeople to turn the ideas into reality. I was trained as an engineer, but was never able to engineer, in earnest, working for industry. In 1999, I left the mainstream workforce behind forever, and am now embroiled in the constant excitement and struggle of the life of a full time artist. My studio is a hotbed of creative energy: growing, morphing, kindling collaborations with like minded individuals with passions and aesthetics akin to my own.
